Access Scientific manufactured the Powerwand, a family of midline and extended dwell catheters. Prior to its acquisition, Access Scientific had raised approximately $21.4M. The value of the acquisition was undisclosed.

The company’s first product, the xvision-spine system, received 510(k) clearance from the FDA in December 2019. With the latest round of fundraising, the company has raised $25.1M.
